Job Description

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, reliability, and quality of transmission for the NOC.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the NOC and ensure the team is properly staffed, trained, and equipped to provide level 1 and 2 support to our customers.
  • Ensure that the NOC is meeting defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our customers.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the operational support and maintenance procedures focused on avoiding unscheduled service interruptions and achieving best-in-class customer support.
  • Planning network expansion and new devices purchase.
  • Monitor the network and server from the core level to access.
  • Creating and implementing network security measures.
  • Conduct regular network performance tests.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with IP Team, Technical Support, and Operation Team to ensure alignment with cross-functional processes and procedures and explanation of teleport and customer support responsibilities.
  • Build a winning team through meaningful, timely feedback and recognition.
  • Develop, document, and ensure compliance with NOC processes and procedures.
  • Act as a point of technical escalation and support, as needed.
  • Assign and manage workload and shift work schedules.

Requirements  

  • Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Network Engineering or any related field.
  • CCNP
  • 5 years in a similar role
